Who is it for?

For children ages 2–3 who are planning to enroll in a French school, such as LFIT (Lycée Français International de Tokyo), AND their non-French-speaking parents or those who are beginners in French.

Objectives

  • Develop awareness of French language abilities and French identity
  • Prepare for starting kindergarten: language level and mindset
  • Share the joy of communicating in French with your child/parent

Content

  • 10 sessions of 45 minutes (in the form of private parent-child lessons)
  • 120+ vocabulary words useful for kindergarten life, taught in a fun, progressive, and repetitive way
  • While following the core program, we adapt as much as possible to your situation, the needs of each family, and the French level of both the child and the parent
  • A bilingual summary sheet will be provided for non-French-speaking parents
  • Questions about life in a French kindergarten are welcome

2026 Fees

The first session is free as a trial lesson.
If you wish to enroll after the trial session, you will begin with the second session of the program.

  • Fee per session: 4,000 yen (one child AND one parent)
  • 9-sessions package: 35,000 yen
  • No registration fee or annual membership fee.

Practical Information

  • Location: primarily at students' homes. If this is difficult, please let us know and we will try to find a suitable location together.
  • In the Tokyo area (please contact us if you live outside Tokyo)
  • Before the trial session, if you wish, we can arrange a brief meeting at a café to discuss your situation, needs, and expectations.
